running alck

Alrights, the brooks republic run results are out at http://republicrun.sg; but please do take note that only top 3 runners are displayed on the website. otherwise, i’m sure most of you will record your own timing (if you are running for PB ? ).

Alright a short review for this race. First off, race route was good, almost flat terrain with a slight upslope. Second, my polar watch shows exactly 5km distance upon reaching the finishing point; but I do know some have different distance. 3rd, distance between water point station was alright; thou i didn’t get hold of any.  Thumb up for the organizer

I didn’t wait for the lucky draw because in rush to go home in preparation for my mid sem test.

I got my PB for 5km @ 24:35, with a max speed of 15.1km/hr , avg speed of 12.1km/hr. But compared to the top male category runner, whom cloaked 15mins+, i’m abit far apart.

But nevertheless, i believe that the only person whom im competiting is always myself. I’m sure most of the runners feel the same way as I do; but eventually there’s someone i know whom don’t.

Till then, train hard and train well.
